Join Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument for the Wild & Scenic Film Festival at the Roxy Theater at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8.
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a collection of films from the annual festival held in Nevada City, California. Festival-goers can expect to see award-winning films about nature, adventure, conservation and wildlife. These films combine remarkable cinematography and expert storytelling that serve to deepen appreciation for the natural world and the work that people and communities are doing to protect it.
The Missouri Breaks Monument has selected 11 films on topics that include people whose lives are closely connected to our own Yellowstone River, an unlikely pair who tackle more than just summits, and a community’s successful fight to protect its water from the oil and natural gas industry.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and shows start at 6:30 p.m.
