Montana Media Lab Workshop: 'Audio Tools for Non-Audio Storytellers' @ Montana Media Lab | Missoula | Montana | United States

This three-day audio workshop is for people who tell stories in a different medium – photographers, filmmakers, writers — and anyone else who wants to add audio tools to their storytelling toolkit. You’ll get hands-on training with digital audio recorders, practice capturing quality sound in the field, and learn how to edit what you gather. We’ll also talk about writing for the ear and the idiosyncrasies of unfurling a narrative in audio – whether it’s a longform narrative or a minute-long news piece. By the end of the workshop, you will have produced an audio story that showcases your new skills and developed the confidence to add audio elements to your reporting.
