Blood donors are critically needed to help ensure lifesaving medical treatments and emergency care are not delayed this winter. In January, severe winter weather and seasonal illnesses can make it difficult for the American Red Cross to maintain a sufficient blood supply. Schedule now and be the lifeline patients need. The Red Cross urges people to share their good health and resolve to give blood regularly, beginning in January with National Blood Donor Month.
