UM Pacific Islanders Club Lū'au @ Missoula Children's Theatre

The University of Montana’s Pacific Islanders Club is pleased to announce the first annual Lū’au, “He Huaka’i i ka Pākīpika.”

The lū’au will be held at the Missoula Children’s Theatre on Sunday, April 14. He Huaka’i i ka Pākīpika translates to, “A Journey to the Pacific,” and this lū’au will serve as a celebration of pacific island cultures and an educational event for the community to learn about our culture, history, language, art, and dance. This event will allow attendees to form connections among others in the community.

Your support to this event will help the Pacific Islanders Club continue it’s free hula classes every Sunday during the fall and spring semesters, adding an additional free hula class to be taught during the week, eventually creating a Hawaiian language class on campus, and provide financial support to active students and campus community members embark on cultural exchange trips to Hawai’i.

All ticket prices include an all-you-can-eat buffet and an authentic lū’au presentation that you’ll enjoy. Your buffet will include the following:

White Steamed Rice
Kālua Pork & Cabbage (Seasoned Pulled Pork)
Shoyu Chicken
